Geodata now available

18 februari 2025

To ensure that all teams and athletes have an equal and optimal preparation for the European Sprint Orienteering Championships, old maps of Hasselt and Geel have been available to teams for some time. Now, we have also made a base map of Lier available to national teams in preparation for EOC 2025.

This updated package includes OCAD maps of Hasselt (2020) and Geel (2017). Additionally, we have added an autogenerated OCAD file for Lier (2025), based on data from the GRB (Grootschalig Referentiebestand / Large Scale Reference File), the most accurate base map of Flanders.

As supplementary information to this base map, we have also provided WMS links to:

  • Height Model (2010-2014) with Hillshade visualization
  • The most recent satellite imagery
  • The TOPO Map by the National Geographic Institute
  • LiDAR Data (2010-2014)

All details on how to access and download this geodata can be found here: Eventor – Access to Geodata.
